Sup Athletes, Decided to talk a little technology so here we go,

Since media and peer pressure has warped peoples minds into thinking that the mainstream products are “better”. The truth is, these mainstream products are not even good as everyone say, and they even cost more! Everything in this thread are FACTS. Not random, senseless opinions with no proof to prove it.

 

First up-Beats by Dr. Dre. Recently, these headphones have became very popular. I guess because “they look cool”? Not even damn sure. But truth is, they are no better than any other headphones, and they are VERY overpriced. I personally have Audio Technica M50’s. I got mine for $80. Beats are hovering at about $200 for a pair.

 

 

 

 

Apple computers vs Windows computers-

 

• It is a lot more expensive than PC.
• Software and hardware change every six months. The life span of a computer is 2 years and shortening. After 3 years it is completely obsolete and barely runs properly. You’ll have to budget a few grand for a computer every two years.
• You can’t replace parts off the shelves. Except the ram everything is locked and needs the assistance of MAC “geniuses” which cost an awful lot of money.
• You can’t build a Mac easily, and you can’t really customize them, either — not unless you want to invalidate your warranty.
• A lot of utilities plugins are not existent on mac. This has changed a lot the last two years towards the mac side and lot of the mainstream applications are cross platform. Regardless, developers are still writing for the windows side more often.
• Mac’s are not good for gaming. Few titles are supported by mac but it is still relatively limited compared to PC.
• Running windows on a server environment is ten times easier. Windows provide a full kit to run multiple machines on a server. Mac’s are way harder to set up.

 

 

Is it really worth it to pay 1,000 more (OVER twice) for the Mac when the Windows is BETTER?!?

 

 

 

IOS vs Android

 

IOS is actually VERY limited to what it can do. Theres little to no ability to customize your device with IOS. The only way to be able to customize your IOS device more, is to jailbreak it, which in turn, voids the warranty of the device completely. iPhone specs nearly match the specs of other phones, so theres no problem with that. And all smartphones including iPhone are expensive as fuck, so I can’t really say anything about that either. Although iPhones are extremely shitty quality, and break VERY easily. People actually dedicate their lives to creating a business solely to fixing them…

 

 

 

 

 

Reasons why apple is a shitty company:

 

Apply actually FORCES you to buy their products. They make every charger for iPhone/iPod custom so you have to buy from them. 90% of all other phones use the exact same charging cord. A MicroUSB. Not Apple though. And guess what? With the new iOS, this note pops up on screen when you use a non-apple charger: “This is not an authorized Apple product and may not be reliable.” As a result, you might have to splurge for Apple’s original (and more costly) chargers.

The Miami Heat has defeated the Indiana Pacers to make the series 3-2, Although

they won’t see the Birdman in game 6 following the scuffle with Tyler Hansbrough.

In other news Terrence Williams was arrested by police in Seattle while

dropping his son off at the mother’s house.

Kevin Garnett reportedly going to stay in Boston for another year instead going into

retirement.

Mooky Blaylock was seriously injured in a Car accident and now is on life support…

I am hearing rumors that Lakers and Celtics have met together about Rajon Rondo and Dwight Howard and maybe Kevin Garnett

If Celtics trade KG they will hit a huge speed bump and wont even make it to the Playoffs in my prediction

gonna be Rookie of the year but also Best Skills Challenge winner, Also this was a real Entertaining Matchup!

Kyrie Irving VS. Matt Bonner at the 3 Point Contest Matt Bonner had 19 Three’s in the first round and Kyrie had only 18… BUT!

Kyrie Made 23 of 30 Three Pointers to win over Matt Bonner which had only 20 Well thats all!

Sorry about lately not really posting, but you know, I’m busy, and recently I just got a flu 😦

Anyways, let’s get down to business.

The Atlanta Hawks are looking trade offers for forward Josh Smith, but have not yet to decide if they’ll deal the ninth-year forward. Hawks would be willing to give Smith a three-year deal for around $47 million. This offer is the maximum of what they can offer under the new rules of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. 😯 However, Smith turned down the offer saying he would like to play out his existing contract, and get a longer deal this summer.

Philadelphia 76ers guard, Jason Richardson, will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, unfortunately. Richardson started 33 games for the Sixers this season, average 10.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.21 steals across 28.4 minutes per game. He had 40 steals, but missed the past eight games with the injury. (Sorry 76ers fans)

Miami Heat’s coach, Erik Spoelstra, is going to be the Eastern Conference 2013 All-Star Game coach. Without Boston Celtics guard, Rajon Rondo, Brooklyn Nets, center Brook Lopez was selected by David Stern, NBA Commissioner, as Rondo’s replacement.

Hello NBA Fans…

Celtics have now won their 6th Straight Game this time VS. the LA Lakers

which brought lots of attention to this game and It was Nationally Televised so the Celtics can prove what they really can do.

The Game’s score was 95-116 Celtics.

But Remember last time we had a 6 game winning streak we ended up losing 6 straight after but this time I hope we dont lose 6th straight and get a win against

a team like the Denver Nuggets on Monday Night.

We are only 3 games away from 4th and 3rd Place in the Conference we just need the Bulls to lose tonight against the Jazz and the Nets to lose

to the  Toronto Raptors for Jose Calderon and Ed Davis, Three team trade which included the Detriot Pistons…

Pistons gave out Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye to Memphis and Recieved Ed Davis and Jose Calderon which Debuted 15 Points

against the New York Knicks.

Lakers are on a little run and won a couple games but watch when Howard is back they’re going to lose a lot of games… in my opinion.

 

Celtics on the other hand are on 4 game winning streak and have beaten two good teams and 2 teams that are really struggeling and really need to pick up…

Rudy Gay is heading to Toronto Raptors!!! Grizzlies will have the forward Ed Davis and veteran guard Jose Calderon from the Raptors and then move Calderon to a third team and make this a three-team deal.

Glen Davis, Orlando Magic’s foward, was forced to leave the Magic’s game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday night, after injuring his left foot in the first half. Davis played for 4 minutes and 20 seconds, and scored the Magic’s first basket before being taken out of the game. The team was not sure how he was injured.

Rudy Gay, a player on Memphis Grizzlies, might go to Toronto Raptors. However, the Grizzlies are still deciding whether they want to keep him or get another high-priced player before the NBA’s Feb. 21 trade deadline.

The Miami Heat and Cavaliers are on a chase of getting Greg Oden on the team. Oden is going to have a meeting with Miami Heat’s officials.

Allen Iverson, a player on Dallas Maverick, rejected D-League, the Texas Legend, that is co-owned by Mavericks president of basketball operations Donnie Nelson, offer to him. Here is a quote from him, “I thank Donnie and Dallas for the consideration and while I think the D-League is a great opportunity, it is not the route for me.”
